WER BIN ICH? - SCHLESISCHE LEBENSLÄUFE /
WHO AM I? - SILESIAN LIFESTORIES

Germany 2004
Director: Andrzej Klamt, 88 MIN

This semi-autobiographical documentary searches for a German-Polish identity, which might be found in the symbiosis of both cultures and languages. The artists Joanna Helander and Augustyn Dyrda, as well as the musician Stefan Stoppok and the Archbishop of Opole, Alfons Nossol, talk about their Silesian homeland, exile and the historically burdened German-Polish relationship.
