VŠETKO, CO MÁM RÁD / EVERYTHING I LIKE

VSETKO, CO MAM RAD / EVERYTHING I LIKE
Czechoslovakia 1992

DIRECTOR: Martin Sulik, 96 MIN

Tomas, divorced and out of work, is at the crossroads in his life: his beautiful girlfriend, the energetic Englishwoman Ann, wants to live abroad, his ex-wife Magda does not leave him alone, and his adolescent son Andrej gives him trouble. But most of all, bon-vivant Tomas has to learn to live with himself… VSETKO, CO MAM RAD is an enchanting film with a great tonal range – from the melancholic moods of a sensitive man in his thirties to contemplation about the “own” and the “alien” in the personal as well as societal context of Slovakia. Especially the scenes between Tomas and Ann exhibit Sulik’s inimitable humour and his playful eroticism.
