GRANNY
/ BABUSJA For many years, Tosia has run her daughter’s household and taken
care of her grandchildren. When her daughter has to go to the hospital,
her son-in-law sends Tosia to live with her sister Anna in a remote village.
Together, the two old women face the rigors of everyday-life, bask in
their shared memories and have pleasant dinners with friends and neighbours.
But then, Anna gets hospitalised, too. Anna’s daughter, who lives
in Moscow, desperately tries to place Tosia with her grandchildren, but
all to soon the good-natured granny finds out that no one wants her...
