Retrospektive DANIEL ZUTA

Between 1973 and 1981 Daniel Zuta studied theatre-, film- and television sciences at the University in Cologne while working as a production manager on feature films, documentaries and "many many commercials". He was in Rudolf Jugert's and Alexander Kluge's teams, managing the production on the latter's films THE PATRIOT and THE POWER OF FEELINGS, as well as Kluge's and Schlöndorff's film GERMANY IN THE AUTUMN. Zuta was the executive producer on Kluge's CREEPINESS OF TIME. One of his biggest successes as a producer has been Michael Klier's film EVERYWHERE IT IS BETTER WHERE WE AREN'T which won the German Critic's award, the Grimme award, the Hessian Film Award, and awards in Salsomaggiore and at the German Academy of Performing Arts. Further productions were LE BAL MASQUÉ by Julien Vrebos and GEBÜRTIG!. As both director and producer, Zuta realized THE BORAN CASE in 1986/87. The Daniel Zuta Film Production is based in Frankfurt; Zuta is married with two children.
