The old fool Yorik and a young couple - Maria and photographer Andrej - live in a house soon to be demolished. They have escaped from the madness of their time into a world regarded crazy by the "normal ones". Not showing consideration for time and space, they have withdrawn into the world of their anarchic phantasies where there are no boundaries between dream and reality, history and present tense, archaic and contemporary modern age, longing for love and closeness to death. The images and narration structure of the film are accordingly associative. It portrays basic situations of human existence in a collage of parable-like scenes with surreal, grotesque, ironic but also deadly serious imaginations.
