necessarily with a gun... The script for this Western from Hessen
originates from the cult comedy duo Badesalz. The film was successful
at numerous international festivals and received the FFA-short film
award 2001in the animation category. Johannes Weiland has been studying
anmation at the film academy since 1998..

A puppet film about a painter who only paints bellydancers and a gallery owner who is unable to sell these paintings. Through a magical influence both of them do big business - good luck seems near. The film received the German College award for best production at the Munich College festival in 2001. Fritz Penzlin has been studying animation at the HFF "Konrad Wolf" since 1996, THE BELLYDANCER is his preliminary diploma film.

SING SING SING is the practical final work by Roswitha Menzel in the animation course at the HFF "Konrad Wolf". The music was recorded by the Film Orchestra Babelsberg, conducted by Bernd Wefelmeyer.

The "Monkey-Punk's" hair is the object of desire for a corpulent, mighty doctor. A fight breaks out. The arena, a green padded cell, becomes the scene of the seemingly unfair clash. Christian Fischer has been studying at the film academy since 1996. Maud Gravereaux already has a diploma for animation film from Paris, and has been a guest student at the film academy.

the music project "Eight Miles High" by Roman Flügel, the 3D-Animation
sketches urban spaces at night, using a minimalistic language of
forms, and lets the viewer dive deep into the life underneath the
city lights. The video was created as part of the term project "Learning
from the Clip" at the college for design where Domingo Molina Cortés
has been studying since 1996. His video films and -installations
have been shown at exhibits in Frankfurt, Munich, New York and Tokyo.

Analogue sound devices make music together in this 3D animation, record it and play it back simultaneously. The music consists completely of sampled sounds. The devices themselves create noises which they are able to sample. The design is being created in a similar way. It is being sampled and archived. The video was created as part of the term project "Learning from the Clip" at the college for design where Sascha Langer has been studying visual communication since 1998.

Every evening when dusk wraps around the idyllic small town like a cloak and it has become quiet, Sally Burton dares to go outside. She avoids people and light. Unrecognized she darts through the dark streets to a secret place where frightening trees whisper many mysterious things to her. Anna Kubik has been studying animation at the camera faculty of the PWSFTViT in Lódz since 1997. Since 2000 she is an exchange student at the film academy in the computer animation faculty.

A man and his pet, a mouse, move to a new city. But this isn't your average city! The inhabitants have the most eccentric and beautiful pets, and so nobody pays attention to the man with his plain mouse and he becomes an outsider. Thereupon he creates a gigantic animal for himself, and wins his fellow inhabitant's affection. But this recognition has its price. Wojtek Wawszczyk studied animation at the PWSFTViT until 2001 and spent one year as an exchange student at the film academy in the computer animation faculty. MOUSE is his finals film and a co-production of both colleges.

An absurd cartoon film, which simultaneously and in parallel pictures observes the events on the sofa in two neighbouring living rooms. A woman with a cat and a man. They are bored and they aren't aware of each other. But can worlds be divided by walls? The film won the 3rd audience prize at the Frankfurt Filmschau in 2002. Hyekung Jung has been studying animation film in the visual communication faculty at the art college since 1996.

Hew and Kew are made of stone and are sitting on a mountain. They look down to the valley below and watch with great interest what's going on around them. All of a sudden, people appear in this unspoilt landscape - and the story develops from there. DAS RAD received the rating "Besonders Wertvoll" (Especially valuable) from the board of film classification.
